How many children connect to the web every day from their home computers, inadvertently left unattended by their parents?
How many underage children get involved in blogs, chats and social networks, talking to strangers pretending to be their own age?
Are parents fully aware of how dangerous a computer linked to the web can be?
We asked ourselves these questions and more, and decided to launch Children on the Web, the exceptional case of a similar initiative created thanks to Facebook.
Launched in 2009 as an association, Children on the Web takes practical steps against underage abusers taking advantage of the new technologies.
